Push 'Em Pull 'Em Parade

Celebrate the Fourth of July the best way possible- with a parade of pint-sized patriots! Along with our sponsors, Substance Church, Ashland Main Street is excited to continue to host this long-standing tradition. Registration opens at 9 a.m. in front of Substance (101 South Street), and the parade will begin at 10.

If you want to participate, the guidelines are as follows:

Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult;
Helmets and safety gear are recommended for children riding bicycles, skateboards, and scooters;
NO motorized (electric or gas-powered) vehicles are allowed (including, but not limited to, mopeds, motorized skateboards, and motorcycles);
Participants are encouraged (but not required) to wear patriotic costumes and decorate their entries with a patriotic theme.
Every participant will get a 2021 commemorative button.

Awards will be given in the following categories:
Most patriotic attire (child)
Best decorated bike, scooter, tricycle, or wagon (5 & under)
Best decorated bike, scooter, tricycle, or wagon (6 & older)

If you live on our parade route, please come out and cheer on our kiddos! We go from South St., to Center St., to Walnut St., to Luther St., back to South St.
